Since founding my music lesson studio in 2012, I have been dedicated to

teaching a curriculum that allows students to playfully and confidently learn music.

It is a joy to guide students towards musical literacy and self-expression.

 

My flute and instrumental students are guided through the process of

establishing and improving technique and musicianship, resulting in

increased enjoyment and less struggle.

   Lesson topics cover:

​

• How to play with ease, comfort, and confidence

• Fundamentals of technique

• Musical interpretation, phrasing, and analysis

• Solo Repertoire and Etudes

• Music Theory and Historical Studies

• Basic Piano Skills

• Ensemble Repertoire and Orchestral Excerpts

• Audition Preparation (ie: School Programs; Preparatory Programs; Competitions;

        NYSSMA; All-State; College Auditions)

 

   Students can expect to learn a variety of life skills, including:

• balance, poise, and healthy mindsets

• observation based inquiry

• how to practice a skill

• time management 

• the achievement of short & long term goals

• performance confidence

I work with students of all ages, abilities, and levels: 

K-12, adults and professionals are all welcome

​

Alexander Technique lessons are offered, as well!

​

One-on-One lessons are taught in several locations and formats:

​

• Lesson Studio in my Midtown Manhattan studio by Penn Station (NYC - 10001 zip)

• In-home in Manhattan, Brooklyn & New Jersey (30-40 min from Penn Station)

• Occasional in-person lessons and workshops in South Florida & Houston, TX

• Virtually for students around the globe

• Hybrid -- a combination of in-person & virtual lessons. We work together to create a plan that works best for our mutual schedules

Studio students are invited to participate in annual events, including

our Annual Spring Recital, Virtual and In-person Studio Classes,

Summer Workshops, and Guest Masterclasses
